You never know. Didn't IDEO "make their bones" in the medical supply? I'd bet they get bill out similarly, that's a fat industry.

those medical industry must pay quite nicely for them. i wanted to work for frog or ideo back when i just got out of school. i should have milked my connection at frog.

Well it's a day rate, and I'm sure it's not your everyday business meeting either. Extemporaneous analysis and ideation by experts isn't cheap.
