How are they going to delete them from the cd?

I hate it when I accidentally delete something from a CD

when they drag it off the cd.
and no, like a mentioned its a project.

on some programs like toast you can arrange the window so some of the stuff is not in the window that opens when you click on the cd-wrong... otherwise I'd just stick them in a fodler called 'assets' rather than loads of ugly folders/files

i heard a rumour that if you eat brussel sprouts the info in a cd cant be erased.

what are you doing your project in, and for what platform?
If windows - have you tried 'attrib -h' ing the files/folders on the CD?
Depending on your software, would you be able to rename the source files (eg. xxx.jpg > xxx.fil) without it breaking?

I once touched the back of a CD and the files ended up smudged over my fingers, some of those files were filthy

whats with all the lame attempts at jokes.
thanks narin and engage :-)
its for windows, hiding the files with attrib-h will work but not if the user has their pc setupt to view hidden folders.
i cant rename files.

As you're probably aware, most digital files are impossible to hide totally from the user (even quicktime files, you bastards, Apple - I knew I'd get back to your temp files eventually!), so you can only rely on obfuscating your work and making it hard to get at...
Consider compiling individual work files into large archives, accesable by your host software, otherwise, if you're reliant on a web interface, you can only rely on crap tricks like breaking up image files and re-combining them on output..
Regardless, if I (as your user) wanted your files - I would be able to get at them!

I'm trying to put my rabit hutch onto a 90 minute cassete. Any clues?

I wasn't joking. I did want to know how one might delete a file from a cd.

Oh. That kind of hide?
I've been wrestling with that very-same shame ever since I created my first folder :)

package it all up in an .exe file... somehow
