Okay, I am doing some web work for a client, and they've supplied their 'ideas' in AI & PDF, initially I thought 'great, someone using standard file formats!'
Then I discovered the filesizes.
Basically they look like simple A4 pages, but for some reason, they are like 200-400MB EACH.
Poor illy has been trying to open one for the last 10 minutes.
How is it even possible?!?! I supposed if they've used uncompressed bitmap @ 300DPI... argh.
I've never seen/used an AI bigger then 50mb.. unless there's raster in there.
So any idea how I can batch convert this crap so I can see it? It's not even source artwork or anything, just 'ideas'.
thanks.

1) open outlook
2) type "please resize/resend"
3) click "send".

Tell them to resend it with the proper file size, and tell them what they are doing wrong too, so they don't repeat it.

Finally opened one .. asked for the location of various jpegs.
They seem to have some pdfs with it too.. how on earth am I supposed to magically known which is to be used?
