Any ideas what the more well known firms charge for the average site?For example, what would 2A charge for the smallest to largest projects?

2A designed a banner for me.
I'll still be paying it off when I'm 64!

Just do what 2 A does, download a template from template monster for 60 bucks, make a few edits and bill the client 60k.
Or you could always rip and copy content from tutorial DVDs, both are great and efficient for cutting down in production costs.
