last one was getting too long.
So, three things:
1. Barely anyone replied about the Eagle I got 2 weeks ago. Holed it from 150 onto an elevated green with my 6. Sweet shit.
2. Played Lionhead Legend's course on Saturday (http://www.golflionhead.com) and holy shit it was awesome. Excellent course and super difficult. It's sloped at 148 (yes, that's right, it's 3 points OVER Wingedfoot's slope). Shot a 114 so I was really happy with how I played. My driver and my putter were on fire, if only my mid's and chipping was the same.
3. How about Phil's devestating fuckup yesterday at the US Open? Holy shit Phil, what were you thinking? He only hit two fairways the entire round, and none on the inward nine. Why did he even try to hit his driver on the 18th?
That was hard to watch even, truly heartbreaking. I damn near cried for him.
That's all for now, heading to http://www.coppercreek.ca this Saturday, gonna play it from the tips (Slope 140) so it shoud be interesting.

Yea, whenever the person who wins is in the clubhouse and not throwing his hands up on the last putt or whatever is kind of like ... why the hell did I watch this?

his jiggling man boobies foiled his chances

(Jun 19 06, 13:54)YOu know...I can't watch Phil play without thinking that if he dropped 30 pounds and lost the bitch tits - he'd have a much better game...
- flavorful0
Haha yea man, you think he'd do something about them.
They are very uh ... disconcerting.

I think someone should do one of those Gatorade type commecials where it presents an alternative history, like where Jordan misses the shot against the Cavs or Dwight Clark drops the ball against the Cowboys in the 81 playoffs, only have Mickelson replace Anthony Kiedis running on the beach with his mantits jiggling and the hook "I don't ever wanna feel like I did that day" in the Under the Bridge video. If that doesn't motivate him to lay off the coffee cakes nothing will.

Enter response:
phil got fat this last decade... it's a shame to see too - someone like himself who seems like such a 'young' family guy should trim of the tit-lard and make sure his heart keeps pounding...
... AND TIGER NOT MAKING THE CUT... woah.. but ... also... wow for him even showing up. He was bread on Golf... and the person who did that to him is gone, so I can see how his mind could be a bit foggy still...
... VISIA... CONGRATS ON THAT EAGLE, BUDDY!!!!

I played Mesa Linda in Costa Mesa, CA this weekend, I shot 50 over par, but had some nice shots and a couple of great long range puts. My friends finished under 90, par is 70 for the course, so they did pretty good. I just need more practice and its been probably a month now since I started playing again, but I wasn't very good before.

phil didn't hit a fairway all day - the double should have happened 17 holes earlier.

wow, this thread's been down since the US Open.
So . . . since then I've played Glen Abbey, nice course, not really worth the price though. But, we did end up playing 29 holes because it was so dead we just kept going, hit the back nine and got down into the valley and nobody bothered us.
It was really cool to play a course where you know that Tiger et al has been on the same tee, rolled on the same green etc.
Tried the legendary "Tiger Bunker" shot on 18. 220 yrds out of the bunker over the lake onto the green. I didn't quite get the same result. I popped about 3 pond bombs then gave up in order to save money on balls.
The next day played Eagles Nest. Holy shit that course is difficult. Links style with a bunch of elevation changes. Very tough, don't get in the fescue or you're dead. Certainly recommend it though, beautiful course, very well maintained and all the beer girls are damn hot and have killer uniforms if you know what I mean.
Day after that (yes, this was a long weekend marathon) played the worst round of my life. 146. This included 7 shanks in a row on 14 and then a helluva 4 iron toss into the woods accompanied by the bluest streak that has ever escaped my mouth.
Took a couple weeks off to cool down.
Then I've just had a nasty slice in my drive for the past three rounds and I've been racking of strokes off the tee like crazy.
Hopefully I'll get rid of that and move on to breaking 100 this year. Thought I would have done that by now but . . .

I havent played for weeks and I was hoping to get out this weekend but now it looks like i will be int eh fucking office
- PonyBoy0
sorry man. :(
I haven't played for weeks because I have a mooch for a lil brother who's been jobless this two months and living off of my measly contracts...
- Visia0
yeah, it's not a cheap game at all is it.
I'm out again on Monday but cake will be tight after that so I might not get another round in for a couple of weeks. Hopefully I'll play well and be happy to have the time off.

Nice hole in one man! Sounds awesome.
I'm pretty stokes as for my wedding gift (the one my future wife is buying me) I'm getting a new set of Cobra Irons and the hybrid Cobra baffler. With the wedding money I'll be getting the Cobra HS 9 driver so I've been upping my game lately in hopes I'll be shooting near par when I get my new clubs.
Just golfed here last weekend
http://chicago.twoguyswhogolf.co…The course is in much better shape than the pics lead to believe. Shot an ok 84 but I putted 38 times. Wtf. My putting is worse than happy gilmores.
Now I want to go to the range tonight. haha.
