Switching back and forth like that everyday, surely you must have a favorite? (*whispers: mac)

Intel should be coming out with new chips towards the end of July. That should bring prices down for current technology.
From what I've read, though, the new ones may be worth the extra cost (Duo Core 2).
Wish I would offer an opin for the debate. I am a PC guy and need XP to run Max, but I do love the way Apples look and build quality, but I hate their tech support (no onsite/next day??! How can a business even use them!), but they look so good, but they are so expensive + XP, but they are so damn pretty....
you see?

My business partner is cocerned that the Macbook Pro will disrupt the work flow when passing off the files to someone else when needed.
As far as fonts shifting and what-not. I don't see it as a problem considering the fact that I'd most likely be running windows and using window based programs to do all of the work.

I'm in a similar situation. Although I prefer Macs I chose a PC for work b/c everyone I work with is on a PC so it's just easier to integrate. But if you are mostly doing print, definitely go for the Mac.

So, now i am leaning towards getting teh new Macbook Pro and am wondering if i run OS X 10.3 will it be running slower? not so much?
Man, I really don't want to regret dropping that much coin on something, or waiting. I'd like to stop having to go to the office since I have teh option of working from home.

I'm using Parallels on a MacBookPro just to run Outlook/Exchange, and to test in Windows IE...works fine (although I wish they would add drag-and-drop between the environments). Adobe apps slowish, but its so versatile overall.

Dilema no longer.
I got the MacBook. I am very happy with it and the service that I've received from apple.

get an intel mac, then purchase bootcamp...you can run all your precious PC crap on it now too...at least it wont crash though

I prefer the mac too. I looked into the new MacBook Pro today at the apple store and the guy seemed like a bit of a pud. He said, "I'd just buy a Mac G5 and be done with it..."
Personally, I don't see the point in buying old technology considering it won't be supported for very long. Anyhow, I did learn that you can run windows on your MacBook Pro.
