Your team: Rockets
Who you want: Rudy Gay
Why: I think he has the most potential out of the mix, but not sure he will slip down to 8. I also wouldn't mind Adam Morrison.

Celtics.
Brandon Roy.
Diverse skills. The most NBA ready player in the draft. Can get in the lane and create for others as well as slash for easy layups. If he stays healthy he'll be an all-star in 2 years.

Team: Heat
Who: Um, how bout a young, talented center?
Why: Shaq won't be sticking round much longer. I don't think we have any pics in the 1st, probably not many in the 2nd, but Riles is pretty good at picking out talent (Wade, Caron Butler, Eddie House) so if he can find a center in the later rounds, I think it'd be a good find. Have Shaq mentor him for a season or two then make him a starter.
A man can dream, can't he?

hello americans
just wanted to say that basketball is pretty much the shittest game ever invented, closely follwed by baseball.
2-0!!!!!

Hello foreigners.
Have you watched golf? Or bowling?
Baseball may be close, but basketball is a bit more exciting.
- jevad0
golf is sweet
don;t make me get yngwie all over your ass
- CincodeMayo0
I'm shaking in my cleats...
Golf isn't horrible, but as far as boring sports goes, it's way up there. Next to baseball. Basketball is a bit more action packed.

Basketball sucks because they score too many points...soccer is crappy because they score too few points.
HOCKEY is da bomb.
*not that I won't watch random sports sometimes.

"Riles is pretty good at picking out talent (Wade, Caron Butler, Eddie House)"
Did Riles pick those guys?
- CincodeMayo0
Agreed...hockey is way under rated. I haven't really watched any this season, but I'm a fan. They just need to market themselves right.

Hey puckheads, this is an NBA thread.
we are getting off the topic. NBA, NFL, MLb, NHL is the empire of sports, all others are little leaguers.
So you foreigners get your Visa get permission from your little queenie and come over here and watch some real sports.

Have you heard the proposed trade between Sac and Minnesota? It's Garnett to the Kings for Brad Miller, Kenny Thomas, Bonzi Wells and the 19th pick. Pretty crazy.

Interesting trade...
I've also heard (but there's really no fact to it) Shaq for KG...doubt anyone will even consider it, but that could be very interesting.
If that Sac deals happens, the Kings are contenders.
- Nac_part20
sacs new coach wouldn't want shaq...sure he would consider KG...but as LA fans know...KG isn't going anywhere

Team: Chicago Bulls
Want: LaMarcus Aldridge, Andrei Bargnani.
Would prefer Aldridge, given their need for a post scorer with passing ability. The concern with Aldridge is his work ethic and lack of tenacity. Bargnani has potential as a Nowitzki type player.
Really Want: to give up this #2 pick for the rights to Greg Oden next year (which the Bulls could land anyway with their option to swap picks with the Knicks next year)..
A true shame the NBA age rule was implemented in the year a kid like Greg Oden would have been available. It also gives a guy like LeBron James a huge advantage in his eventual pursuit of scoring and other records.
