(Couldn't find most of the previous threads about this).
I'm looking for mp3 players, preferably with FM/AM, video player, and storage capabilities. I may be looking to purchase one in the near future.
Thanks.

i have an ipod photo its older but works awesome still...but this weekend a client gave me a motorola rokr which has only 512mbs of diskspace but i find i prefer it when im out because i dont have to carry around so much. I use my ipod as a stereo in my room. this doesnt help your video thing though. a PSP is another idea if you can get that 4gb harddrive. other then that prolly an ipod video.

get an ipod. I'm waiting for the true video ipod to come out. Until then i picked up a nano and love it.
Everyone i know that doesn't have an ipod but some other mp3 player wishes they had an ipod. Those that have an ipod love it and wouldn't want anything else. The video ipod should be out xmas time i'm guessing. but you never know with apple either

Hmm...I didn't want an iPod, but I may get a 30GB black one. It's probably between the iPod video and the Creative Zen Vision:M.
Can iPods store txt and other files? I know about the video, photos, music, calendar, and contacts features.

Up until a couple of days ago I'd've recommended a wee Creative muvo, as they've got radio and mic options, but seeing as the second one of these I've had has just gone on the fritz and I've just bought my Dad an iNano, I'll not bother. Have to say, I'm very impressed with the nano, so will be getting myself one when I get back to blighty..

I got a 1GB Creative Zen as an alternative to an iPod because it's tiny and it's got a radio. It also runs on a AAA battery, so i don't need to worry about the proprietary battery crapping out. Again, this doesn't solve your video requirement, but i'd highly recomment Creative as an alternative.

I got one of these - I got told by people that know (not saying I do) that these are better than iPods

I friend of mine had an iPod, and had it stolen. He replaced it with an iRiver and fucking hated it! So he took it back and bought an iPod again.
That kinda speaks for itself to me.
