(Jun 12 06, 10:48)I don't think I watch "a lot" of TV, I just happen to watch "a lot" of the same shows as people on here.
Like Jaline for example.

I'll admit that I'm a pretty big TV addict, but thanks to Tivo it doesn't require me to put TV ahead of actual outside activities.
But as much crap as I watch on TV, I watch just as much educational stuff, like the Food Network, Discovery Channel, Travel Channel, etc.

Yea, I think my TV watching has jumped considerably since I got DVR (Comcast's TiVo equivalent).
Commercials are for poor people.

SubLYMONal advertising is for dumb people.

(Jun 12 06, 12:50)They're weird and not really all that good. I give them props for trying something different though. CP+B always does good out of the box stuff. I liked the Sprite ones where it was guys playing basketball, but they then dove into the court and were swimming under the court. I did however like the subLYMONal spots when they were connected to LOST.
Oh, and why at the beginning of the spots do they say DVR Ready? I tried slow mo and rewinding but I caught nothing I didn't see the first time around.

(Jun 12 06, 11:40)same here (except I don't have tivo). plus, I tend to watch a lot of the same shows as people on NT, like flavorful said.
TV is really hated by some people here and around the internet (obviously), and yet some of the stuff is just as educational or entertaining as the internet world can be. I don't see anything wrong with watching the stuff I watch.

But I feel like I've been to India (thanks to the Travel Channel) and I can cook a mean thai feast (thanks to Food Network). I've also scuba'd to the deepest seas (thanks to the Discover Channel) and I'm currently playing Game 3 of the NBA Finals (thanks to ABC).
Am I redeemed?
- version30
we were cool 'til you said NBA ;)
j/k
all I watch is science channel, discovery(for the non popular shows) and animal planet so to see conversations about prime time soap operas everyday just gets on my nerves
oh and cinco, i hope you never thought i was singling you out, as it was not my intent
so were you ever going to use a santa monica photo of mine for your travel mag?
- CincodeMayo0
Nah, it's cool. We're still amigos.
As for your photo...yeah, I was...but the mag has put on hold at the moment. I scored a great job about a month ago and I'm still settling in. I'll probably pick up the mag again in Sept. and I'll let you (and anyone else) who was interested know what's going on then.

coolio with me, whenever's clever
