(Jun 6 06, 07:40)I didn't know you were alowed to try things on as a boy. I thought you just held it up in front of you for about 4 seconds and made your mind up based on that.

I wish we were all sat in a room so we could discuss this...
The whole thing intrigues me...
So if I started a brand of clothing called FISH tomorrow - which Im not... for the record...
Why would people buy my brand?
As I see it - if you go down the bench route - it would simply say fish on it...
Or would I sponsor (ie give them away) to skateborders/surfers etc and then people think ooooh FISH is great - that cool dude was wearing it so I am off to fish.com to stock up
WOW Im so cool...
"They look nice but the quality is crap"
"Good quality but not sure if I like it any more..."
"Wicked shirt they just look too baggy on me..."
and round and round and round we go again...

Simple answer then. Make them look good, look cool, fit well and good quality.

Karlo.
Based on your responses, I have no idea why on earth you would start a t-shirt business.
I wonder how long it takes you to hit "Broadcast Live" after you write something.

i once saw two girls strip to their underwear in H&S on Oxford street to try on some clothes. One of the shop staff girls said something to them but they just stood there in their panties and complained in a heavy Texan accent that the line for the changing room was too long.
How pretty were the girls? Let's just say they were confident enough to strip down and change in front of everybody. It was great watching girlfriends close their boyfriend's mouths and wipe off the dribble.
I sadly pretended to shop for a while before moving on...

All your responses, to me, come off that you have no idea what you are talking about and are going blindly into this... but then I forgot you were doing research "into why we buy things" not "starting a t-shirt company" because if "you were" you'd "be broke".
TTYL,
Flavorful.
