All of the people on Enjines email list know he is on a road trip. If you go to his site you will see where he is on his 3 week journey cross country. He uploads coordinates to his buddy who updates his website through XML.
Leave your good wishes here for him to see when he reaches his destination.

I think he will do that when he gets back but there is no way for him to upload during the ride. He is sending txt msgs to his buddy with his GPS coordinates.

not many turns on that road...

man, i didn't get his email. why, why!!
i knew he was gonna do it. the last time i saw him, he was really excited about it.
safe trip! it's gonna be a great trip.

it would be nice to be able to zoom into the map and see what roads he took...where he stopped and for how long...

yeah I saw that today....I thought it was going to have the GPS points that he uploaded not just a straight line. I think his buddy is just changing the end point.
I saw 2 points from the other day already but you can't see that now. I think the end result will end up with the separate points.

Enjine take note: Jevad would like to live vicariously through you.

it would have been cool, if he can have a dot on daily basis. then if you click on the dot, u can see the satelite picture of where he has stopped for the night.

yo homeboys and homegirls.
i'm in vegas right now (coordinates not updated yet) getting new tires on the bike. i put 3000 miles on the odometer for this trip just this morning.
i can't see the site from this shitboxx computer, but there shouldn't be just one straight line, as it seems by the way you're describing. it should be loosely following my path, with multiple points. i'll have to check it out when i get to san fran.
and yeah, i'd love to have more info like pictures, town names and stuff on the map right now, but i put the map together really quick, mainly focusing on getting the long/lat to display. i hope to dump all of the long/lat coordinates from the GPS (it saves them as i go, i think) when i get back to get a true-to-life detailed line.
i dumped the bike yesterday in Valley of the Gods, Utah. it was offroad and my luggage-burdened streetbike couldn't handle the gravel hills. oh well. just broke the luggage, windshield, blinker, and some other stuff. got a huge welt on my hip too. bike still runs and i've made it down here to Nevada. So all is good!
after the tires get replaced: burn up the rest of Nevada, into Death Valley, and up to San Fran.
More then...

yeah, my lowest day was like 450 miles and my highest was 850. did exactly 500 yesterday, through the roughest rain and terrain yet. my wrists hurt from those damn mountains, but they sure are fucking beautiful!
