When I create a clip by:
_root.createEmptyMovieClip..I can attach many movies to the clip without problems. But if I create another clip within my initially created clip, I can only attach one clip to it. Is that the way it should be? I am sure each clip gets its own depth..

Show me some code, Sanchez.
I'm betting you're not handling depth or naming properly.
Any takers?

Use the DepthManager Class. Then DepthManager.createChildAtDepth...

You're right, I inserted the line creating the second level container into the loop attaching final clips.
I only noticed this while putting code into pastebin, you helped before you could take a look at the code :)

Mimio, I never used it, but sounds like I should look into it.
Thanks, guys!

you can target it by, _root["the movieClipImade"].the movieClipInside
make sense?

I know that woodyBatts, thanks.
I just mistakedly kept the line creating container clip in the loop attaching children clips to it.
