When I was reading about this in the news, I recognized one of the names of the people arrested. Looked up in my high school yearbook, and turned out one of the suspects sat behind me in English class in Gr. 12.
This is messedd, and he was messed too. I can actually confirm that this kid was all into that terrorist stuff, like praising the 9/11 attacks. But he was also a bit of a goof so you didn't know whether to take this guy seriously.
Well I guess he was serious!
I just thought that was pretty creepy and thought I would share.

Ahmad Mustafa Ghany, 21, of Robin Drive, Mississaug.....
that dude just lives just down the road from us...not far away...
just south of the school my wife teaches at...
that is very freaky..
only 21 eh?...
my wifes been teaching there about 6 years...wonder if he was a student?...lives just down the street....
i'll ask her when she wakes up...she may recognize the name...this is going to make tension at that school pretty brutal...
its kinda split down the middle racially...
1/2 of em are rich white kids from around the area..
the other 1/2 are mostly kids from india and pakistan...this could get pretty weird, pretty fast.

Maybe this is a good thing...open people's eyes a bit to the fact that this isn't just an 'american' or a 'british' thing...these bastards are non-discriminatory in their hatred for all thigns non-islam
- jevad0
that is not to say that they are that way because they are islamic...in much the same way that a distinction should be made between christians and fundamentalist christianity - so should the world be aware that these are fundamentalist islamic extremists...and they are all over the world...waiting for any opportunity to attack freedom.
I will now get back to polishing off the bottle of chablis I have resting in my lap
thankyou

The PTI office bearers and workers celebrated the 52nd birthday of their Chairman Imran Khan and held in a simple ceremony in party office here on Tuesday.
Mr. Khan was pleasantly surprised upon entering party's office to find party leaders and workers carrying bouquets, cakes, cards and sweets. Just a note about extreme islam and christianity. Islamist extremists are only acting out what their religion actually teaches. If anyone who calls themself a christian thinks using violence to promote their belifs is cool they are acting against what the bible teaches.
Islam teaches that war should be used to grow it.
Jesus taught respect for authority, even if that authority is persecuting you.
There's a huge difference. And both documents are very clear in their positions, so it's not a subjective thing.
Islams goal is to build earthly kingdoms and impose sharia law on everyone.
Christianity's goal is to build a spiritual kingdom of people who choose to worship in spirit and in truth.
The strongest christians are in places like China and Iran where they face death on a daily basis.
- version30
that is just stupid, why don't you just say christians are sad because they choose to believe in an imaginary friend, instead of themselves
and as far as islam, i don't care what they do either until their stupidity starts blowing it for the rest of us
also, negativespace, what were you reading online that you found the name Asad Ansari?

"The adult suspects from Toronto are Chand, alias Abdul Shakur, 25; Fahim Ahmad, 21; Jahmaal James, 23; and Asin Mohamed Durrani, 19. Those from Mississauga are Ghany; Abdelhaleen; Zakaria Amara, 20; Asad Ansari, 21; Saad Khalid, 19; and Qayyum Abdul Jamal, 43."
This Asad guy was a computer guru, into programming, and hacking and stuff like that. He claimed once his whole family praised Osama (I'm not making this up). Just everything thought he was being a goof to cause shit. I had to work on group assignments with this guy, damn weird. I actually probably wouldn't have recognized his name normally, but because it was this terrorist article, I rang a bell and I dug up my yearbook to confirm.
