Looking for something to do around 10 p.m.?
Want to rock your socks off?My band is playing with a few others at Silvie's Lounge, near the Irving Park Brown Line stop. We go on between 11 and 12 but some good bands playing with us beforehand.
Silvie's is at 1902 W. Irving Park.
Our site is at http://www.theatlanticdivide.com… where you can listen to our songs in the Music section.
Let's just get drunk and stomp things.

Awesome. I think we're going to try for some shows out of Chicago towards the fall, and Milwaukee isn't too far away.
Maybe we'll head up there soon.

Don't wear a hat crooked to one side in any of the bars... bouncers, managers, staff, everyone who works at those bars absolutely hate it.
... Especially when you refuse to put it on straight.

I was so close to coming last time, but drama with friends overruled the night.
Perhaps tonight I will make it up there.

Haha dobs, I went to Chicago last year to catch a Bucco game at Wrigley Field, and the nite before we decided to hit up some bars and I was thrown out (at really odd varying times) of about 8 before I met some Chicago kids who were able to talk the bouncers into letting me stay, haha.
Needless to say my friends were pissed, because all I had to do was wear it straight.
I liked Chicago a lot, I'd definetley bang heads back there again.

If you're there Brooke, make sure to say hello so I can give you one of our fancy buttons and compliment you on your fantastic apartment decorating skills.

Chicago is a riot, like all the fans were complete assholes but that's what made it so fun - plus they were really cool after awhile, haha. Just had to get the balls busted and vice versa beforehand.
Though I did have a lot of it coming to me.
I only had a short sleeve shirt, and it was freezing and snowing - so I walked into a Cub Store and bought a long sleeve Cubbie shirt. I was getting a lot of shit, about how the Pittsburgh Fan can't take the weather, blah blah blah, and I was just laughing because I knew what I was doing.
I paid, walked out, went to a convenient store got a big sharpie - turned the shirt inside out and wrote, "Cuck the Fubbies."
Put it on, went back to the store and said, "I think this shirt looks a lot better on me now." And just started having things heaved at me from racks, behind the desk everything, hahaha.
I handed the guy my ticket and he just said, "Son, you are going to get killed wearing that."
But all in all, everyone was real cool about it ... well not really Security had to keep intervening but by about the 4th inning I didn't have to fend for my life and felt confident enough to go to the bathroom, haha.
Security did make me and my two friends stay until our entire section left though.
Perhaps they really didn't like us after all... shrug, haha.
