Make a couple of options for them to chose from. When you present them, say, "Here is one way you cud go."
Then when they have looked at that, show them the next one and say, "Here is another way you cud go on the design."
Only when you say it, and this is really the key part, imagine the word cud spelled like this: could. If you don't, they'll know you think it's spelled cud. And you can kiss that job gudbi.
