i want to implement this in my blog so i can use a custom font for the titles of my posts in my new blog. (no it's not what you think it is..)
anyway, i use textpattern now and i don't know how to get this into the code here...
if it's a lot of work and someone is willing to do this i will pay a small fee for it.
thanks in advance!

but that doesn't really get me any further. it's about implementing it in textpattern blog system.
thx anyway!

Hi Crowel
did you download the folder from the site?
If so you should have all the CSS files that come with it.I dont know textpattern so i dont know what kind of html it publishes, but i know that siFR is ideal with h1 or h2 yags, i have used before and it's a bit fiddly but once you have a read to the CSS files and experiment a bit it's quite straightforward
hope it helps

ok. thanks!
i only need to implement it into the css? that would save me from so much trouble!!
i am gonna read this over again.
cheers.

open this file : sIFR-screen.css
and scroll down until it mentions "decoy styles" you'll see they all refer to h1 h2 and so on, just place the css in your folder and experiment a little with a simple html file and see how it goes
again dont know what will happen with textpattern...

I'm at work now, but give me a shout if you still haven't figured it out in the evening.
I'll have to do it decoy-style from my gf, because I'm supposed to work on her site tonight, huh..

We're talking sIFR here?
Crouwel, have you added the
'sIFR.replaceElement' calls at the bottom of the page you're trying to implement it on? They should reflect EACH of the titles you are replacing and should appear on EVERY page you intend to use this on.Here's a good walk through that Jnr_Mad posted a couple of weeks back ...

I hope this is what you're after?
(I know it's not 'textpattern' specific, but I hope it's useful)

Oh. Maybe I should've read the other posts ploperly first.
My bad, Crouwel, Fariska.

i think you just need to edit the textpattern html/css and also edit and upload the js file to the server.
«...
1. Open up “sIFR.fla”, double-click the font item in the library, and choose any font installed on your system. Export the movie out as “sIFR.swf” or whatever name you’d like.
2. Set the CSS properties of your browser text as mentioned in the paragraph above.
3. Set which items you’d like to replace at the bottom of the “sIFR.js” file.
4. Include the “sIFR.js” file in the head element of your pages.
