The Detroit /Miami series is really the finals. Either team will destroy the west winner.

The west is pretty scary, and hopefully the Heat can finish out the Pistons in Detriot (what?).
As for the Heat, I grew up in Miami Beach and have been a fan since 1988, so it's about time something good has happened. Although there was Harold Miner...

Shaq's insane - just his mass and reach alone should get them to the championship... but yes - Wade needs to play w/some serious heart as Shaq's a lil older now (Shaq even said that himself :) ).

yeah, growing up in detroit, i WAS excited for this years playoffs. But they've let me down starting since the cleveland series. If they played the way they played all season it would be wrap. Instead, they stopped playing as a team. But I'll give miami this, they've played with the drive we had 2 years ago and during the regular season. Tis' sad to go out like they are... But i do think they've got 1 more win to take it to 6 games.

That loss the other night was tough for Detroit. I think Miami is on a high right now, but Detroit is on some good ol', you punched me in my face!? - oh shit - I'm gonna fuck you up, type of revenge factor.
I see Detroit crushing tonight, regardless of Shaq playing like a beast. I see Ben Wallace going CRAZY on defense, and I see Chauncy being Chauncy when it counts,
and then I see the Heat winning in Miami because right now they're the better team.
Heat in 6.
But tonight is Detroit, just because of Pride and Adrenaline.

Yeah, I agree...hell, if any team can come back from 3-1 it's the Pistons, but Miami is playing like they haven't played in a long time (Shaq especially) and after reading that article, I think they really want to get revenge for last year and win in D-town.
I'd love to see them take it tonight, but it's the Pistons. They could turn it on at any minute, unless they really are too tired and showing their age.
As long as the Heat start off on the right foot I think it's ours to lose.
