first - i'm an idiot.
second - i'm on a mac with the latest software for all print.web apps.
advice needed: how can i create designs in photoshop through imageready and take a section into flash for the background and match jpegs used directly in dreamweaver? (ie: a section of the whole background is a flash element placed perfectly so the background makes a perfect 'whole' graphic.)
i'm exporting a png for the flash design as i need the transparency and exporting jpegs for the rest of the design.
any workflow advice muchly appreciated.

forget placing it in flash, set the wmode property to transparent when you embedd the flash file in yr html, that way you can see through to the html background

wmode=transparent.
