"I firmly believe I'm innocent of the charges against me," Lay said following the hearing. "We believe that God in fact is in control and indeed he does work all things for good for those who love the lord."

isn't a prosecutor trying to sue three of their banks into paying out quite a few billion to try and help pay you guys back?

guys like this and koslowski are amazing. if you're going to steal cash, why would you steal the whole fucking company. koslowski had so much money that he didn't know what to do with it. he bought an umbrella stand for 16k

(May 25 06, 13:55)this means that the best angle they could get from their mock juries was to take a religious stance to appeal to them

what happened to all the money? was it all spent... is there EQUITY still in the blown cash somewhere that can be somehow given back to those it was taken from?... at least 'some' of it?
And why the hell are these two out on bail that COST MILLIONS?... WHERE'S THAT MONEY GOING?
$5 MILLION IN BAIL (per defendant I think) - soooo... the state and the fed get a 'bonus' too?... ahh... i get it. :)
$5 mill can go a long way if invested properly and could very well be used to give back to those who lost...
... and why do the two defendants still have that much money?... if they were found guilty - freeze their freakin' assets... THEY'RE THEIFS - TAKE THAT SHIT BACK.
damnit.
