i have FWrks but still can not optimize very well.....althought it does do a good job generally, better then PS.
ANyway, how do i optimize a 8.5x11 image to be 100k......i heard you do the slicing, but what , am I optimizing how.....HELP. Please.....

8.5X11 ?? I hope you changed the resolution to screen one. (72dpi) ?

slice all photorealistic bits apart from all primary (256 colors), save the 256's as gif and the photorealistic parts as jpegs.

yea, its actually 540x800 at 72dpi.....i like to save the whole thing as a JPG due to size......but whats the gif for,is it to save type slice area, cuz there sharper.
i as the gods, for help, I will sacrifice a mighty mouse to the heaven in your honor.......GOD DAM, SOMEONE HELP>>>>>>>
