does this look perfect on a mac but wiggity-whacked out on a pc?

you're not holding your mouth right.

Mother Blanker!!!

'cus you have some crazy large width set on that DIV (or is that a table). If it's not that I guess I could take a look at your actual code haha
- Buckyball20
tables. and tables nested within tables. which I'm starting to believe is causing the problem.

table width="1360"
I would suggest something a wee bit smaller :)

actual site content is 960. 1360 equals the blue glows on the left and right. Which if they get cut off I'm okay with.
This was client driven btw. We tried to tell them that going this wide could alienate some 1024 viewers. They said screw 'em.
Well here ya go.

your idea of perfect is somewhat flawed, or debatable at least.
No I take it back - flawed, I'm sticking with flawed.

poor coding?
- Buckyball20
Thanks rask. I shall make a tee shirt out of that.
And I'm no code monkey. that explains the "flaws."
Everything is aligning correctly now except that the page is slightly off center by about 80 pixels or so.
Anyone have a perfect answer for that one?

with that wide blue table in there it will always be crap no matter what
why is the blue not part of the background?

Cleaned this up a little.

But last question. The Consulting button, built with CSS, down the side shows up fine in Exlporer Mac/PC. But in Firefox and Safari it has about a 10 pixel extension on it.
Any reason why it would behave like this?
thanks,
