Post House here in the US is a company that does design, composite, 3D, film shoots, etc.
everything when a TV station, Movie company, AD agency goes out of house to get things done

Sydney has way better post industry than Melbourne, lots more work here. Another magazine to get your hands on is Australian Creative for all things design/advertising.

I was in Melbourne for three years... be prepared everyone has a degree even all the 7-11 retail assistants have design degrees.
I had 10 yrs dev experience and couldn't find anything there. Australia is not a question of what you know, it’s who you know.
