Most high-rise type apartments have a leasing office inside. No annoying brokers and very little pressure. Plus those type of buildings have everything you need in terms of amenities..

rentdirect.com... they charge you, but you don't have to pay broker fees. OR, just walk into buildings you like ask whats available.

for the price you would pay in a highrise ny apt, you would prolly be better off getting a broker.

Great, thanks for the help. I kind of figured it is worth the money to hire a broker, especially since I am working in a 3 - 4 week time frame before I start working. ONn a side note RiggsWard was great, I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who is interested in living in Richmond.
