you can run windows on a mac. they have hybrid systems like this. was eventually going to happen. from what I hear the Intel chip is very good with Macs

haha Sven.
i k now by posting that I was opening a can on MAC vs Windows Woopass.
I love the desing of macs and I dont have any probkems with the OS but I am used to Windows and I have been using 3ds Max for 6 years now and its part of my everyday job. This unfortuantely doesnt run on a Mac. So I would need windows on it. sorry :( and NO WAY am I GETTING A DELL. if worst comes to works Im getting a MAc screen and some PC that is in a case that looks like mac!

Kiko if you are running Windows you are so much smarter getting a Dell, Gateway or an IBM machine. It's the support factor that you need. You buy some built at home machine and you're going to encounter problems and there will be no warranty.

I've found it quite slow running CS2, but not tried Windows...

I'm using a MacBook Pro. It's awesome... he's right about CS2 though, it's no faster, and at times, even slower... CS3 is going to be great though :)

hmm your right about the supprt factor. But I just dont want some ugly looking PC. I love mac screens, and I dont relaly care about the PC itself, as long as its quiet and not too bulky.

apparently they run windows very well indeed - just run a google search on intel imac running windows benchmark or somesuch.
And yes, I think you can get 2.5 gigs of ram in there.
They are great computers, but you won't be able to upgrade the graphics card etc in the future. saying that the 256MB card they come with seems alright.
