choose, something like, quicktimeVIDEO and set your compressor to either NONE or ANIMATION and drag your slider bar up to the right for full quality, and choose the best depth, unfortunatly it will still look shite though, but I think this is the best you are going to get unless somebody has another option.

can you export it as an image sequence and import the frames in after effects?
- chossy0
yeah you can dobs yes you can.

Why not export an image sequence and drop it on a timeline in FCP?

(May 11 06, 15:01)would that create better quality?
- mrdobolina0
would think so because the graphics would be uncompressed. Is it all vector?
- PublikStar0
hmm i never thought of that...

Not sure how much of a difference there would be, I was just a few seconds off dobs suggestion. Use whatever you have. I usually would set the image import setting to one frame, but that would depend on the frame rate of the flash movie.

yes, all vector, no sound.

export an eps sequence and import it into FCP or AE should only take a second for a 3 second anim.

yeah I have just tried a few of the otions and, a quicktime movie with the settings I mentioned is the easiest one and yeilds the same results as an illustrator sequence, unfortuantly it will look weird due to feilds and hd progressive or interlaced depending on what tyoe of deck they have to record onto.

chossy what software do you generally use at work, not for this type of application, but in general?
- chossy0
I use AVID and Final Cut Pro.

I was always interested in video, but only played around a bit with AE and Premiere, this was a few years back.
