on the title and terrible posters I will be giving this a wide berth. fuckin baws.
- Jaline0
The cast looks good, but Josh Hartnett's presence is a bit annoying.

fuck your berth, josimar. the posters and title, yes, even cast would make you steer clear from this movie, but alas, the anterior does not represent the interior.

Does anybody know when Steven Shainberg's film "Fur" comes out?

Just the Title fucks me off

well, whatever. designers; always judging by the package.
- digitalswarm0
Yeah, the title is too gimmicky.
- -scarabin-0
worst title i've ever heard
i'd go on but i already ranted about this movie a few weeks ago and i'm saving my angst for better threads
- ********0
what thread, scarabin?
- k0na_an0k0
Oh shit, all this time I thought the guy who wrote the title had a hair lip.
- -scarabin-0
haven't found it yet, hoping something will come up
by better thread i meant more angst-worthy, btw, so no offense

whatever, i respect all of you opinions, be it that i can react a bit harsh. no offense though, it is a weakness from my side. if you only knew what is going on with me these days.
having that said, this movie filled my current mood more in a more appropriate way then i imagined it would.
long story short, i now know that vengeance can be a blessing, even though i have always "berthed" from this idea.
the fact that i can, now, after more then 25 years of intense emotional struggle, may turn out to be a cold relief.
i'll leave it at this.
i have a whole night of writing to do and i will be here from time to time to cool down and be entertained.

i've never found you to be hostile

actually a good film, art direction a bit full on in putting a 70's decor in a 00's story, but the story itself gets better as it goes along. And actually tellls a story. the end.

well, i have no idea how people perceive me sometimes, if ever.

In that white suit crouwell, I percieve you to be the smoothest guy in Europe except me of course I'm smoother than a ladies leg.

exactly engage. i did not go specifically for this movie, see my other "help me pick a movie" thread. so i went without bias or expectations. but as the film went along i seriously started to appreciate it on a different level. it is refreshing to see a hollywood film relying heavily on storyline and detail instead of effects and other means to sell.
the decor was way over the top, but it's a film, and i appreciated the heavy 70s inspired eye-candy.
and i must say, two thumbs up for the photography. with one of the most memorable shots being the one in which morgan freemans face was taken in close-up from a frog-perspective right through the glass chess pieces.
intense.

chossy, that is true. and this is the reason why the UK should be kept away from a complete EU membership, as i would become second best.
and that, my friend, must never happen.

excellent movie. got my recommendation too.
