my mate's been asking this, he studied in nyc and graduted but he wants to come back to the states for his grad degree, does he use the same social sec #, though it expired and he left the country or he gets a new one because he is getting another student visa and starting over again? i guess he d done some dumb shit that's why he wants to start with a clean record ?

But seriously...he should use the same. He can always say he left before his visa expired.
