I've been a long time Sopranos fan and I have been patient w/ this season thinking it will get better but w/ only 3 episodes left this has to be the biggest let down. Especially after waiting forever for it to start. Big Love has actually been more exciting and entertaining.

ive been steady with each episode but it just doesnt belong after the sopranos
i do somewhat agree the sopranos have become an element somewhat on the level with the golden girls...
but this last episode was true sopranos style...tits...drinks...hotheads... Crackhead Chrissy feedin a dog

i never have the dedication to watch these drama's like 24 / Sopranos / Lost etc cos different channels show it at different times then i get mixed up where i am in the story - even though i DO like the programs.
flatmate got the sopranos series1 box set from a mate so ive started watching from the start! hehe

it's amazing that a show can be so funny and touching without playing down the loathesomeness of a character like Paulie

the stealing of the wine has been the best part of the season so far.. 'fuck you!!!!'
however, though there have been various other high points throughout the season, david chase and the writers have started to get self-indulgent. it seems like they are taking themselves too seriously. what made the show so great in the past were episodes like when paulie and chris got lost in the woods (still my fave episode... just above furio's first appearance).
the second half of the season better start tying together some loose ends instead opening more. if it ends like newhart im gonna be pissed.
