photoshop image sizes?

  hey genius dudes, i have a 14k photoshop image with one colour layer in CMYK - 1gb image size!

  And tricks to reduce this?

  okay maybe this will ring a bell somewhere -

  any idea why, if I check out image size in photoshop, it tells me a number way lower than what I see in windows explorer?

  ie - photoshop says an image's size is 530mg, windows says the same image is 1gb.

  Any ideas?

  it says its 530 milligrams?

  The size it shows in the Image Sizer dialog may be an estimate...depends on how you finally save it.

  why do you need it smaller right now?

  so this is in PSD format right... what format are you exporting as finally?
