i liked tom cruise in top gun and born on the 4th of July and rain man perhaps but nothing after that really made me respect him as an actor. his appearence in magnolia made me laugh but not as bad as his stuff in MI:2, in fact the Ben Stiller MTV piss-take said it all. Tom is a product of Hollywook, other than that gruesome grin, what else does he have to offer? He sure ain't no tom hanks and he got a break when he did bachelor party right?

It's clear that Cruise makes himself so much more crazy than he actually is by continually making jokes about his supposed insanity. And people believe it.
