Next year they are entering the EU.

I guess just make sure you get 50% up front. that is pretty standard. But as far as copyrights in a foreign country... i wouldn't count on doing anything about it. it would cost to much

it's all been paid.
how would you do it if the client is in the USA?

Nice design plamensk1 ,
me likes a lot. Very different to the normal tripe

from your initial contract, think about what you have signed. once you have competed the design, it is no longer yours to issue or not issue
if you want tight control on your design, you would of set up a contract where you are the holder of the design and will supply changes to design when client requires it

thanks for the advises.
i'll make them sign an agreement.

then why would you care what they do after you recieve final payment? Are you hoping for royalties?
Copyrights and trademarks only give you the ability to pursue legal action. How much you pursue determines its strength.

(May 9 06, 10:24)I don't charge for the deisgn, but what I require is to have the exclusive rights of distribution of the wine in the UK under this particular label.

put a big condom over it ;)
- uberdesigner0
ever rub one out with a condom on? it's really cool

It depends on where the contract is signed, to which rules apply.
If its in the UK then you'll be alright.
