which workaround are you using now?
I've found one that seems to work,

nothing yet but since I dont relly 100% on DW's WYSIWYG i dont mind.

I've been using deconcept.
he has a good one for QuickTime too that is almost identical. It is better than that satay method in my opinion...

not sure how this differs, but i just use an inline script where my flaash would be.
the script loads in from an external js file, which writes that object/embed tags out (document.write).it is simple, and it works in ie7 beta 1
