usrper - your reverse-psychological tactics won't work on my keen intellect and manly Canadian stamina.
You should go rent one of my movies and think about what you did, young man.

good one, nosaj.
Also, Bluesfest is turning more indie now, but there are still quite a few blues bands in there, on different stages. I highly recommend it.

Canada is huge. Do you want urban or rural? French or English? Pairie or seaside? Or perhaps head up north... lot sof room to feel alone there.... alone can be a good thing.
If you do venture to Nova Scotia, you could spend some "get-away-from-everything" time in Bill Gates' (yes, that Bill Gates) private island. $165 CAD/day with a 7 day minimum stay.

If you're coming next week (assuming the Flames win tonight) go to Alberta and go hockey crazy watching Calgary and Edmonton beat each other up. It will be a Spectacle.

- Jaline0

- usrper0

next summer I'm setting a road trip with friend. ocean to ocean.
from halifax to vancouver.
it's been mentioned before, but newfoundland, nova scotia and P.E.I. are amazing. P.E.I. has some great golf courses and nice beaches. While you're in the region, you should go to Les Iles de la Madelaine. beautiful.
oh and apparently halifax is the city with the highest bar per capita in canada. Can't go wrong with that.

interesting. thanks!

awesome...i didnt want to go through all the messages...you know.

Vancouver Island is really nice, particularly the northern coastal towns like Sidney, etc. Victoria's chinatown is pretty good. And you could always just stop down in Seattle for a little while.
