Broken Foot

Oh yes, the old agency Razor scooter got me in trouble late yesterday. I'm sure some of us have been there before. Or maybe I'm alone in my stupidity. :-)
We had a palette in our back room and with the help of another piece of wood, made a makeshift ramp out of it. The boss and I were taking turns "attempting" to go gain some speed, go up the ramp and bunny hop off the other side. Much to the amusement of the rest of the studio.
On my last run, I second guessed myself, hesitated right at the drop off took a tumble and my right foot got turned under my leg.
So now I'm lying on the floor in some pretty decent pain. I couldn't feel anything broken but a visit to the ER last night proved otherwise.
5th outside metatarsal. Bu-bye.
Anyone have a similar work related injury. Legitimate, sheer stupidity or otherwise?

We are getting a basketball hoop outside at my place of business in like 3 weeks, I will update this thread with my broken feet then, heh.

i brke my 4th meta. either doing in ollie or powerslide on a skateboard.
I had to get surgery to have a wire wraped around the two broken pieces cuz they couldn"t really set-it.
took about a month and a half to get cast off. This were it get a bit gross. They cut the cast and i have a piece of the wire stickin out, btwn my twos. He get plyers grabs and pulls the wire out of my foot. It was really wierd, i felt it untwirling around my bone.
having a cast was a bit of an adventure/journey.
I could do without that experience now, but now that i snowboard , I'm expecting sumthin to happen!
good luck, i actually rode a bike a lot it was a bit easier to get around then cruches. except it would wrk very well in NYC.

You and the boss are taking turns trying to bunnyhop a razor scooter off of a ramp. That sounds like a cool job.

Studio A: we have no medical insurance. you can thank Bucky for abusing the band-aid policy.
feel better gimp. :D

Thanks dude. It sucks more because the creative portion our studio is on the second floor. no elevator and like 20 steps.
Makes for a fun climb.

you need one of those chair elevators for the railing on the stairs.

That's what my boss said. Like the one the old lady had in Gremlins. And then went haywire.
