Catalogtree is in some way connected with Nom De Guerre?
The logo concept is identical.

Kelpie you're welcome. I like Catalogtree works but let's focus this thread about the logo concept. If you compare the single letters (the "o" and the "e"), it's evident that they become from the same design, in every detail. Catalogtree had design it for Nom De Guerre? Or they became from a third resource? This could be interesting. I like that logo. Both.

The the original Nom De Guerre logo was designed by graff artist, Ojas. same thing with the Vacant logo.

I have the answer guys it's a font called ornamental woodland gothic, It's a tree-mendous font

the one from dafont is the same, but less detailed, and catalogtree put the bird (top of the a) on another place.
either they got hold of a better digital version of the font, or they scanned it from a book.

Crouwell, thanks for the links. So, it seems that the original logo is Nom De Guerre, designed by Ojas developed from the font Black Forest or the same ancient resource. In a (too much) similar way, Catalogtree did the same.
Now could be interesting to know the original resource. I figure an obscure designer from 1600 ripping a book from 1400.
