Old boss calls me up. Wants me to work for him. I go check out his site and he took my old work, not work i did for him but personal work and flashed his new company logo all over it. BTW: It's motion graphic work.
He knew I ws going to check out the site.

at least kick his front door in. at like 3am. make sure you borrow some shoes from your friend that are about 4 sizes too big, so they can't tie your footprints to the scene of the crime. They'll think your pee pee is bigger too.

I worked for some creatives that were 50% about the bottom line, 50% about acting like assholes. It's everywhere you go, just moreso at different places.

No It was all personal work. The work I did for him at the time was rebranded with his new logo. Not even nice looking either.
He sold that company and took the current work from the company that bought it.
He got my work from my website.

... I'm talking about those who work for marketing firms or design companies...
... I recently was 'sharing space' at a marketing firm THAT BLOWS.... garbage creative... weak ideas... shitty design... SHITTY... and they think they're just swell and that I should've been greatful for having a chance to be around them...
... there is LOTS of these places out there too! If you want to see a firm such as the above - look up local graphic design firms/marketing firms in cities other than NYC and LA and you'll find what I mean. (yeah yeah.. there are PLENTY of exceptions... but it's safe to say that the ratio of good design over bottomline is big)
