anyone on retainer?

so I've been on a nice retainer for the last 2 years now... time flys...
... anyone else on a nice lil freelance/retainer bit w/a company?
only thing that sucks - I'm ready for a 'raise' as I've taken on 'new' projects from them... new responsibilities etc...
... but since being put on as their 'designer' 2 years ago... I've turned into their I.T. / goto person in a crunch when they're screwed technically... and they have a hole IT department!!! IT's just that the people who have been looking to me for answers for the last two years have come to rely on me for stuff not pertaining to my retainer...
... grr... it's getting to me - long nights... etc etc... I have no clue on how to approach them with this either... they're really starting to 'take advantage'... but I don't want to lose this - it's bread and butter if you know what I mean.
I'm not complaining here. :) Just looking for some 'biz' advice on how to approach a client that pays me monthly... to ask for a raise... even though I'm not 'on the payroll' as it were.
