FLV Audio Problem on Mac

The audio is dropping out completely when I transcode an MPG or MOV into FLV using the Flash8 Video Encoder on my Mac. If I use the Flash 8 Video Encoder on my PC and use the EXACT same source the audio remains.
Anyone have any ideas as to why this might be?
