Never will I work for a stupidly big company again. I've been made redundant for the second time in two years.
That's nearly four years working with massive brands but at the end of the day, creatives are so under appreciated in these massive places it's not true.
The company this time is Carlson in Putney, if anyone is a client of ours RUN RUN RUN!

yeah, I was starting to thikn that anyway Chimp. I reckon I could get enough of my own freelance work and top it all up with agency work all put through my own company.
My only problem is that I was going to look at buying a flat this year which means I need a salary because my girlfriend doesn't want to go self certified.

Might be a good idea to put off buying a flat. I would love to buy round Islington but I think I may have to save for a quite a while.

I have been freelance for 5 months now and have been very busy since I left.
I would say that I would like to have another 3-4 yrs under my belt learning form the best before I set up on my own.

welll, I've got a servicable online portfolio done. I think it is good for the job it needs to do. i.e. it's really simple to navigate and is an introduction to my work which will hopefiully lead people into wanting to get me in to see them in person.
What do you guys think?
remembering that it is more an introduction than a full on portfolio is there too much work? any of it too wealk?
