There is a domain I wanna get. Its up for renewal in Oct this year. Isaw a website a while ago that helped you get domains one the day they expire if the owner doesn't renew immediatly - anyone know what the URL was or the best way to go about this sort of thing ?

there's lots...
http://www.sedo.com seems good for bidding on domains whether expired or notNetwork Solutions (and probably lots of others) have a service where they bid on your behalf even if someone hasnt listed their domain for sale.
then there's Snapnames, Namewinner, Domain Monitor, and GoDaddy does all this stuff too...

best bet is to backorder the domain through the same registrar as the person that has it now. It can stay in their system until they release it to the public. So you might have a better chance of getting it that way. Then just transfer it to who ever you want... and this is just a theory of mine.
