Email security for mac OS X

  Just wondering if anyone could recommend any email scanning software for the mac?

  mail does an ok job in itself if you set the prefs up ok.

  what are you trying to scan for - viruses (almost non-existant on mac 'so far') or spam?

  I notice that I get a few emails stating that the email had been scanned for viruses, I would like to do the same.

  those messages are usually inserted by server-side scanners
