We're not particularily close, don't get me wrong (I haven't seen him in many years, and was always closer to his younger sister and brother) and I can imagine what he's like, but yes - he is indeed family.
* tries to get all sinister and mafioso - "..And no one insults my family!"
** realises he's weedy and ginger, gives up pretense.

re: allclad, i agree. stuff is overrated and way too expensive. the high end calphalon stuff is just as good, more ergonomic, and is cheaper

pfftt...cookware can be exciting....sometimes...

stick to the classical cookware. timeless.
i watch too much food network channel...

i will say this as well, i *hate* the design and action of AllClad Professional pans. the handles taper the wrong way, they are poolised so they slip when held w/ a cloth, and their balance is made only worse by the wierd handles.
truth be told, you replace the handles of them w/ a suitable professional one, and i would like them

one can not deglaze a non-stick pan.
it retains no charater of the dish...

(Apr 18 06, 09:05)this is generally my #1 criteria for selecting which pan to use, and probably the most important difference between stainless and non-stick
