yes,
but if you don't evolve like this, or if you don't fight for a sole creative existence in which you are conscious you are the only one to bring yourself specific wisdom and knowledge (by selection, source filtering etc) but mostly by boldly following your own creative aspirations and merits, well if you lack all that, you will be bound to school for the rest of your life.read: you will be bound to be institutionalised for the rest of your life
read: you will forever be working for salary and AD and CD orders
read: you will never be able to really discover your deepest personal (creative) desires, agonies etc.
read: you will forget you only live once and only find out when you retire, then you will become frustrated, and it will all be too late..
read: quit your jobs and do something that seriously kicks your ass HARD. like talking to a psych about your very very very deepest personal feelings and insights...or go travelling, ... core is: learn to learn to walk your own path.

yes Bill, I know who you are and I'll thank you. I'm not so obstinate that I'll discount proper teaching.
I'm glad we spent some quality time in an alley.

It seems that there are movements to claim that school isn't needed.
It really depends on the person and what they want to do with their life. I think school can be really great sometimes. It gives you something to do and think about. I know if I wasn't in school, I'd most likely be lazy for a long time until I decided that I really needed to get going in my life.
So school is something I need for now, no matter how many times I wish I could just quit everything.

right on, jaline.
it's very clear you are certain school is helping you right now, which is good.
and you may finish it, which is even better.
but if you feel the school is not (anylonger) serving your development or if you feel you are only there just to earn a piece of paper,
you may be better off evaluating who you are and what you want.
