why not actually draw it all by hand and scan it? computer drawn stuff is just a counterfit.. you're losing an opportunity to bring a human touch to the work..
as far as the hierarchy of message/type goes it;s also not particularly clear what the #1, #2 #3 level of importance is.. "get your z" is not clear, poetic or interesting..
however, I like the graph background though I'm also not sure what it's supposed to add (and the IMPORTANT message on the bottom? wtf is that?)

they say asu is the biggest party school..but i spend most of my time doing hw and studying..so do most of my friends. you can party big at any state school.

thanks scransom for the input. i did it in a day..they need to have something out there..but i do understand what you are saying. the graph background is so that it makes it looks as if it were hand drawn...thanks for the input!

Scransom is pretty dead on. I'm lost when I look at this. The title needs to command more importance. But your biggest problem isn't the design, it's the message. What is this for? Don't forget the reason for design, communication.

I get the joke of the 'important: place blue copy under...' but it doesn't really work. You would actually need to get one of those sheets, and hand-create the poster, and then scan it in for it to work. It would be more cliche to just create a poster of a 'photocopyed' party poster, if you know what I mean.

1) get a haircut.
2) shave.
3) manifest it analog before digital.
4) I like the graph paper.

Have you considered printing it onto graph paper (instead of scanning graph paper)
