I just remembered the first R/C I had.
It was a team Losi. I remember it came with a video. hahaha. great car. think I have it in parts somewhere.
I guess I had a similar version to this sometime back in '93.

make sure you get one with a 540 engine so it goes like a bat out of hell. the reissued hornet, grasshopper and the pre assembled frogs only come with the 370 motor which is no fun.

I grew up cutting out Hornets from Target magazines, but couldn't afford one, I now have satisfied my RC need with these puppies an offroad and a Indoor electric heli.

my first was a hornet, totally unbreakable!!!
i then raced a shumacher (spelling?) cougar for a year or so
last a load of us here bought a few RC cars but I chose an engine one, fast as fuck off road thing, lost control of it smashed into a wall...bent the chassis, broke the drive shaft, stripped the steering servo.
it now sits gathering dust :(

Get this, a great cheap entry range heli, otherwise you'll end up blowing $1200+ learnign to fly. And get yourself a good sim.
Real Flight G3 is awesome.
