well, because i, much like your average internet user, have an attention span of about three seconds, and, once i see that it's a booze site that i have to sign into, you have three seconds to convince me it's worth my time. unfortunately, that's how long it takes for your splash graphic to appear. nothing personal against booze sites or mickey's, just laziness and a hearty indifference to the scantily clad girls who generally reside on the other side of age verification.

I think there is really one picture of a half naked girl on there. But I think its buried away on the wallpaper section. It’s more of a humorous site targeted to men 20-30 years old. There are way more boys on the site than girls.
I know what you mean though. My computer is pretty slow, and it takes a second for that splash page to load.

errors:
the copywriting on the homepage. if it's not an error, perhaps it's a joke?
i got the stuck record effect when i tried to enter the 'women and downloads don't mix' section. unless, of course, the website is more clever than i am and knows that i'm a woman, thereupon attempting to stymie my downloading.

i am ashamed and pissed i went to the effort to make up an age and wait for it to load, only to find a non 'spaz', worthless, ask jeeves, virtual host on the other side of the Mickeys website.
i feel dirty.
