if you were to put him side by side with another skater doing the exact same trick off of the exact same ramp, paying close attention you would notice that danny falls just a little bit faster than the other person. the reason being - he has great big gigantic balls of heavy steel.

Retire already... these "extreme" jumping feats are getting old.
Also... IMO, he didn't stick that drop, falling off in the out-run is not considered sticking it.

the fact is he is pretty much the only guy(publisized) sticking snowboard sized jumps on a skateboard.

a friend of mine was a camp counselor at woodward bmx/skate camp back in the day. Danny Way was there doing a demo. A stray cat made it's way onto the campground and danny picked up the cat and swung it over his head by its tail and shot the cat 50 feet straight up into the air by its tail. The cat hit the ground and tore the fuck out of there.

call me old fashion, but although I recognize you need balls (and the budget) to take on this show - jumps, I see waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy... more talent on things like this guy does: http://www.youtube.com/results?s…
I can watch him for hours, and he doesn't even need to be o a rail, doing amazing things with a skateboard on flat ground, that to me is more amazing.

meeklo - i know where you're coming from. I enjoy seeing danny (or whoever) go "big" but I'm of course impressed by skills alone, period. Rodney is a fucking god as far as tech skills are concerned. I especially enjoy rodney because he was the shit back in my day, riding those old "freestyle" boards.
I can look back on a thousand things from my life but there is nothing more nostagic to me than skateboarding.
