Hi there,
Is there anyone here who could do me a massive favour and pass on a version of Fontographer for the Mac to me?
I can't find it anywhere (other than buying it) all I can find is PC versions. It would help me out alot!
Cheers

I've just got the new OSX native version of fontographer here at work but I can't really email it to anyone since it's registered to the company I work for (big multinational agency) plus do you not have to have the installation cd and serials etc to properly install programs these days.
you can buy it here:
http://www.fontlab.com/Font-tool…it's a pretty powerful tool for $350.
If you make and sell enough fonts, you'll make the money back in no time.

If anyone has a copy, or manages to get hold of one I would be interested!
Cheers

leeches
go get your software elsewhere

I thought One of the good things about the design industry was the sharing of software /advice /services, so is everyone in this industry a leeche?

So the best thing about the design industry is freeloading?
Dude - I hope you have another career in mind... you'll need it.
- kelpie0
hehehehe...
best thing about learning how to do all this shit was being able to do it on software that didn't cost you thousands of pounds (anyone who says different is either lying or were very very wealthy as students).
obviously a pro agency should be using licensed software.
still, fight the fucking power:

hahaha, that url made me laugh so hard.

just buy it and then you can legally convert legiitmate fonts to versions with one letter changed and sell them for $10

If you actually read what I wrote I was saying that 'One' of the Good things about the design industry was the way designers from all around the world are able to learn from/help/give each other advice etc... I thought designers were quite open minded and liked helping other designers! maybe I was wrong! Otherwise what is the point of sites such as this! Link was quite funny though! Nice one.

I think this site is meant for people to share opinions, not software.
There are plenty of sites out there where you can find what you need.

so if NT doesn't cancel the accounts of people trading software, will America target it next for harboring criminals?
- Andys0
Look mate it was a simple question asking for some advice where to get a free copy of fontographer from so I can start designing some fonts that I can use for my own work that was it, and also Im quite happy with my choice of industry and am doing quite well thanx. I did'nt think this was a site for narrow minded moaning bitches

Wtf!! You get pissed because no one hands you a 350 dollar piece of software when you ask for it.
Thats funny..
- Andys0
Whos pissed off! I was just asking a question and get called a leeche who should find a new career! whats that about?
- ********0
Wrong question you asked I guess.
- Andys0
Are you going to give me a copy or not?
...Only joking!
