maybe we will have world peace now that we know, without any margin for error, that all religions are wrong.

Poor Jesus. How do you think he feels right now?!? His father, instead of being God is about the ugliest looking fish I've ever seen.
Humbling.

Wow, I just read that whole article and it is incredibly one sided.
Can you tell what the person's belief is in the matter who wrote that article? I can. Quite obvious.
"Objective" news is dead.

I agree, but what is the other side?
That the earth is 6,000 years old and we are all descendants of Adam and Eve and thus inbred?
- ********0
actually it was possible that their was an Eve. read something about mitocondrial dna math that says man's roots all came from one woman.

Are there really two sides to this? Is everything either black or white to you? Either you believe or you don't.
I could write quite a few paragraphs expliaining things to you but I'm not going to get into an arguement telling you my personal beliefs and what not... frankly it's a waste of my time.
Do people who believe really bother you that much?
I just don't get it.

well, meeting in the middle too much leads to social decline. it did shitcan the greeks after all

It flies in the face of almost every scientist to say that the earth is only 6,000 years old and that is what the bible says, right?
Believe what you like, but let scientists be scientists and clergy be clergy.
What you believe doesnt change anything for anyone else, until it starts creeping out of the church and onto the street and into the classroom.
