hello all:
when I import a vector into flash, looks like the vector loses it's vector... like, I can't see the anchor points even on edit mode for the image.
this is what I did, it was a simple vector illustration, I saved as .eps, and then imported into flash.
I wonder if there is a way of creating an interface, buttons and all in illustrator and then placing and using it on flash, but without losing the vector, just like if the image were created right in flash.
thanks for any advice,
soulfly

Save your AI artwork as version 8 first. Then try.

best way to do it is export as swf from illustrator.

and when you EXPORT/swf from illustrator... you will have a curve value.. 10 is good, 9 works well too.
once you are in flash, the anchor points will be totally different. what i am hoping now that adobe and macromedia are one, there is a standard on vector shapes.

the algorithms behind adobe's vectors and mm's vectors are totally different, so if they were to combine pen tools or whatever, one of them would have to change significantly.
or so i've heard.

try saving as an .emf or .wmf. Or copy-paste. This always works for me...though I'm on a PC.
